Today, my sister found out she contracted ringworm and scabies from her best friend's rescued kittens. The entire family now has to be treated to prevent it from spreading. There are 7 people in our house and none of us have health insurance. FML

ringworm treatment you can buy OTC, scabies buy sulfur soap and ointment and use for 6 weeks or until gone. not the end of the world.

Or rather than moving to Canada, you could just go to an Emergency Room at your local hospital. Just saying, it's better than waiting nearly 6 weeks for an appointment like in Europe/Canada. In Boston, MA the City has experimented with socialized medicine and it's pretty much bankrupted their local government while ordinary citizens have to wait on average 50 days in order to visit a specialized doctor. Also, there are several private, subsidized insurance plans in America for low-income families who cannot afford health insurace. If this is the case, your family should look into this.
