Today, my sixteen year old son told me that he's following his guidance counselor's advice: to do what his hero does for a living. The problem? His hero is SpongeBob Squarepants. His ambition in life is to become a fry cook. FML

well u did a fantastic job raising your kid.... advisors and therapists know NOTHING

hey someone has to make the fries. but really, are you supposed to be the adult? let him get his dream job. encourage it. take him to all the fast food places to apply. once he gets that job and finds out how shitty it is, he will want to take school way more seriously.

At least he knows what he wants to be? I find nothing wrong with Spongebob being his hero. Peter Pan is my idol. Could be worse.
