Today, my two year old decided to run out the front door alone. I ran after him, tripped over the bottom of my jeans, fell onto the sidewalk and scraped up both my hands and knees. My neighbors just watched. FML

Everyone saying that she should keep her child under control... It's not like you can reason with a two year old. All kids that little misbehave sometimes and run. That doesn't make her a bad mom. And the neighbors could have assisted with the running child to make sure he didn't run into the road.

okay i posted this comment about my two year old. first of all im not fat, and im a girl. we do not live in a trailer park. and the post was suppose to be funny, he ran down our flight of stairs out the door, and when i went to grab him i tripped over my jeans and scraped myself up. im not bitching about it or even asking my neighbors for sympathy. it was a funny incident! for godsake back off. obviously a lot of you have nothing better to do than write ridiculous comments on other peoples posts.

At least they didn't laugh?

what's so dangerous outside the front door that your child needed rescuing? are there clowns and paedophiles in your front yard??

Today, my neighbor ran out of her house and fell. She then proceeded to bitch and moan. She then asked why I didn't help her even though I am over 500 feet away, FML.

O and, Today, the clowns and pedophiles finally kidnapped the bratty kid next door after luring him out of his house, MLIG.

Ok drama lama, what should they do? Call an ambulance? Bandage your skinned knees? Hugs and Kisses? Or maybe you wanted them to chase your child down because you were too inept to keep him in the house? I wouldn't chase/grab some stranger's kid in this day and age either. Make sure the screen door is shut all the way next time and suck it up.

I feel for you. My two year old took out the front door while I was putting his diaper in the pail in only a diaper. That was interesting.

ytd..for not watching your kid! I have a 3 year old and she is never alone long enough to open the door plus don't you think you should have it locked?

I think the OP is fat and couldn't catch up with his kid. when he tripped he realized this and wanted the neighbors to hurry up and save him rather than the child.

make certain your child cannot run out of the door. that could have been a very serious situation. be thankful you were the injured one and not your child!

FYL? No. You fell, get back up and get your kid, boo ******* hoo. I can't say YDI either but this isn't a big deal.

well if I saw my grown neighbor trip I wouldn't run to rescue them

neither would i.. but if i saw my neighbour running after their small child (suprisingly.. most toddlers can run fast enough to make it a challenge for an adult to catch them) and they fall and the kid is still running i would go after them... cause technically if you witnessed what was happening on your street and that kid gets hit by a car or something and you didnt try to prevent it when you were able to you could be charged with neglect/manslaughter... and arent people nice to their neighbours anymore... when im at the mall and there is a small child running my way and i see the parent chasing after it i will try and catch the kid.. the parents are very grateful after... whats happened to this world and helping others
