Tell me about it! I once dated a high school drop out, with a low paying job, no drivers license, stoner, punk, alcoholic, with a child... Geezus what was I thinking telling myself he was gonna change for me?! Good thing I got that low life out my life. Lol.

I used to get high everyday, and get drunk on the weekends. I stole from every store I went to, and didn't care about much of anything. But when I met my girlfriend, she slowly started to change me. I realized I cared more about her than I did for drugs, and I've been sober for almost four months now. It's not impossible to change someone for the better.

Not to diminish your accomplishment, #80, but you're 17 and it's only been 4 months. It's good that you're clean, but it's gonna be a whole before anybody (even you) knows what kind of person you really are. You're still a kid.

#99, just because he's 17 doesn't mean a lot. Yeah he's still young but I honestly think he has a lot of maturity for his age. Giving up drugs for a girlfriend? C'mon, that's a huge accomplishment. I dated a man for an ENTIRE YEAR, he's 24 turning 25 and he has a hard time even finding a job due to his criminal records. He never gave up his drugs or his influential friends, who were all equally unemployed. And me? I kept a job and remained clean. #80 is on a better path than my ex, and I have to applaud him.
