Blonde is recessive when the brown hair gene is dominate. But there is a change for some one with historically dark heritage to have a blonde child if each parent has blonde alleles. A #1, did we really need all that explanation? you couldn't just say "Gingerness is recessive"? you REALLY had to explain everything?

you can both have the trait for red hair. even though it's not common to have blonde hair and your child might not always have it because blonde is recessive and in this case the red is dominant
