What's with all the YDIs? Every man fantasizes about a three-way, don't try to deny it. If a man had suggested this to a woman, instead she'd be appalled (or maybe excited depending on her opinion) but everyone would say the husband was a dog. In this case, OP is just a perv because of how his wife worded something (possibly on purpose to see his reaction). It's not like he did anything wrong, his dirty mind just kicked in.
