Today, my wife screamed at me, calling me a "useless, ungrateful piece of crap", all because I wouldn't have sex with her, despite hours of her nagging. I said no because I've been laid-up in bed for the past week waiting on surgery for an excruciatingly painful hernia. FML

Today, I felt a horrible pain while having sex with my wife, and I had to stop. I thought it was a hernia or something, but she called me a liar and accused me of everything from not finding her attractive, to me cheating on her. It turned out I had appendicitis. She still won't apologize. FML

Today, I slipped on some ice and wrecked my back. When my husband and I went to go to bed, he begged me to take one of the pain pills left over from his recent surgery. Not so I could feel better and get some rest, but so he could have sex. FML

Ummm... yeah, a hernia is where an internal organ (often an intestine) is displaced from its cavity. AKA your guts are spilling out of your rib cage and pushing out against the skin. If nybody watches 1000 ways to die on spike, youd know that if it gets displaced further or the organ ruptures, it can cause extreme internal bleeding and death...

I'm amazed at how many people here suggest that he should just give her a bj and that is the end of the matter - especially since if the tables were turned nowhere near as many people would be seriously claiming she should get herself out of bed despite the pain, get herself in position and suck him off on demand. How many people here could easily give oral sex whilst in an excrutiating amount of pain? It's not that the OP is in a position where he just can't have sex, he's in a position where he can't do anything but lie up in bed. *sigh* there's my faith in humanity gone for today...
