Today, my wife screamed at me, calling me a "useless, ungrateful piece of crap", all because I wouldn't have sex with her, despite hours of her nagging. I said no because I've been laid-up in bed for the past week waiting on surgery for an excruciatingly painful hernia. FML

All the people here are such hypocrites. If this was the other way around; if a woman had an issue like this and wouldn't have sex, all the comments would be things like: "Dump that bitch!" or "You can do better!" or "Go pick up another chick in a bar and **** her!" It's despicable.

@Yamster Negative connotation or not it's a double standard because of the SUPPORT men receive when they demand sex. No one's saying OP's wife should dump him or divorce him or find a club guy to handle her needs when she's not getting laid. They are coming to his defense and saying HE should dump HER for nagging and demanding sex. If a woman refuses sex, it's "that's her job" "it's her duty" "dump her" "do her sister". That is where the double standard lies.

@ Yamster "Men receive support if the woman generally isn't pleasing the man" Sick OR Healthy, a person has the RIGHT to refuse sex. Yet a healthy woman is bashed for not putting out. I haven't seen an example of a healthy man not putting out, but I suppose it's possible. You can't choose to bash the healthy woman and not bash the unhealthy man when BOTH have the right to refuse sex.

@Yamster Are you blind? My whole point is that it's a double standard when the healthy people are bashed for not putting out, but the sick ones are not. Both people have the right to refuse sex. If you're going to bash, bash across the board.

I understand my argument quite well. Murder has nothing to do with this. We are talking about sex. STAY ON TOPIC. If a man can DEMAND sex, not get it and be supported, then a woman should have the SAME RIGHT. OP'S wife is nagging for sex, is not getting it and she's being ripped. I should be seeing the same "she should dump you" "YDI for being a Pansy". I'm saying the same people who yell pansy at the healthy person, should be yelling pansy here. Instead (according to you) I'm the evil, insensitive, person with a lack of morals. Only a SICK person can refuse sex and not a healthy one. This is not true at all! Health does not matter. Reason why does not matter. Legally, you can refuse sex AT WILL anytime. Period. Now, I've tried to suggest OP go to the ER to fix it right away.. I've suggested OP use hands or mouth. If my suggestions (and others) are not appreciated, best of luck with your wife. Now OPEN YOUR MIND!!! You probably won't though, because you're too busy seeing this YOUR way.
