Today, my wife screamed at me, calling me a "useless, ungrateful piece of crap", all because I wouldn't have sex with her, despite hours of her nagging. I said no because I've been laid-up in bed for the past week waiting on surgery for an excruciatingly painful hernia. FML

Today, I felt a horrible pain while having sex with my wife, and I had to stop. I thought it was a hernia or something, but she called me a liar and accused me of everything from not finding her attractive, to me cheating on her. It turned out I had appendicitis. She still won't apologize. FML

Today, I slipped on some ice and wrecked my back. When my husband and I went to go to bed, he begged me to take one of the pain pills left over from his recent surgery. Not so I could feel better and get some rest, but so he could have sex. FML

@yamster There are 2 problems (I know you only see it as ONE which is why we keep going back and forth). The first is OP has a hernia. The second is OP's wife is not getting laid at the moment. You are assuming OP's wife's issue is NOT A PROBLEM or it's NOT PRIORITY. It's a problem or priority to HER. It's why she's nagging and it's why she raged when she called OP "useless ungrateful piece of crap" If you trivialize one's problem instead of acknowledging it and then work together to come up with an alternative solution, then maybe you are a "useless ungrateful piece of crap". Maybe. Not everyone goes out and has an affair right away. Some nag, some name call (like you and OP's wife), some act passive aggressively... Some try to bring their problems to their SO and the SO is stubborn. I personally would NEVER sneak behind my hubby's back, I'd just force him to go to the ER! Once again dude, you don't know me nor do you know what my morals are so I'd appreciate it if you back off.
