Today, my young daughter came up to me, grabbed my face and said, "I'm putting you in the garbage." When I laughed and asked why, she looked me dead in the eye and said, "You are trash." FML

"Well if i'm trash then what does that make you?" "I don't know!" "Grounded. It makes you grounded."

Well... Hopefully it isn't garbage day anytime soon, make the escape while you can!

And you asked your partner or ex if they taught little Rosemary's baby such a thing? Your dear sweet mother in law? I would have a bar of soap and a therapist at the ready!

She might understand the relation between the two, but she might not realize exactly what she just said means.

#58 Yeah, after she said it OP should have asked why? shes a kid, she'll learn based off reactions :)

Your daughter sounds like she could be a new TNA diva!! :)

I would sit her in a time out and take all her toys away that is really fresh and she needs to learn not to be disrespectful but I'm sorry that must of made you feel awful

Well, she said "garbage" and "trash", I think she realizes what it means, but since the moment she grabbed OP's face it's clear nothing good was coming from a brat like that. As #61 says, OP's reaction just gave her permission to think that was ok.

That kid needs a quick swat on her butt and a good talking too.

I am surprised that noone else has seen this as a big red flag. I have a young daughter and if she ever grabbed my face and looked me in the eye and said this to me, I would be very concerned. Children mimic what they see and hear. I would be carrying out a conversation with her to find out where it came from before immediately laughing it off as a joke or setting punishment. what if that is what someone did to her?!

Kids these days are scary, they act way older than they should be and then the next second they're the most cutest ******* shit ever.
