Today, I had to clean up human poop that someone trailed through the store. Then, as I was cleaning up all the shelves at the end of the day, I saw that someone had changed their sanitary pad, took a new one out of the packed and used it, then left the used one on the shelf. FML

Today, I went to drop the garbage in the compactor as I left to do some shopping. I quickly put my handbag down on the side, threw the 'garbage' in the machine, watched it do its thing, and then turned round to find... the bag of garbage on the side. FML

Today, I was in a bathroom stall and someone had left their dirty tampon rolled up in toilet paper on the top of the paper dispenser. I felt obligated to dispose of it, so the next person didn't think I left it, because there was a line for the stalls. Fuck you, asshole. FML

113, I think it has to do with it being someone else's period mess. I wouldn't have a problem touching my own period products, but I would have an extreme problem touching someone else's.

It's still not that bad. Like people have said before, garbage truck workers wear thick gloves, so it's not like the residual blood will get on you. It probably wasn't even done on purpose, it may have accidentally fallen out. Menstruation is a normal thing (if you're a woman) and it isn't something to make giant deal out of. I feel like a lot of people make a mountain out of a molehill, and it's just not worth it.

I would do my job. I would find a bag or napkin or something to pick it up with if I were in that situation. It's called ingenuity people... it probably fell out of a bag that wasn't tied properly.

I live in a neighbourhood of primarily student houses and the idiot girls down the street always put their garbage out the night before when the raccoons can tear it open. I've seen bloody pads and other personal effects strewn all over the ground, the garbage men just leave them there. I certainly wouldn't touch them...ugh.

I totally agree with you 17. One time when I was a senior in high school, I went into one stall and saw a bloody pad fricken stuck on one of the walls. And I looked at the door and saw blood smeared on it. I just don't know what's wrong with girls these days, not giving a **** about other people having to clean up after them.
