When you say he literally became the poster bord I imagined him stapled to the cafeteria wall....
oh god, which college?
seriously! if the roles were reversed, a guy would be like " yeah, i tapped that" good on ya!
time to get your sharpie and do some serious moustache drawing!
I'm sorry to hear that, OP. I had something happen to me very similar to this a few years back; my advise is to just try and ignore it as best as you can. It's really hard, but you will eventually get used to it.
It's probably best if you don't have him, OP. A guy getting that much attention is bound to have girls swooning over him and might be more inclined to cheat. I bet after his face day after day will get old after a while and you'll be like, "Ugh, why did I even date him?"
OP here. Thanks for the comments, especially the nice ones. I really should be more like a man and be like: "Hey, I tapped that!" every time I walk by that stupid banner. Hah! That said, you guys are amazingly on the mark about a lot of this. He was a handsome football player. I was the smart (but not fat, thank you very much!) girl helping him with his shit. I loved him and he knew it. We did have sex once; then he disappeared out of my life. I'm still trying to wrap my head around this/untangle my heart. He's graduated now, but his ******* face is everywhere. FML.

What a small, strange world.
The more you look at it, the more you'll be desensitized to it. Especially if it's the same exact picture every single time you have to see it. Trust me
