Today, the Jehovah's Witnesses were at my door. Normally I don't give them the time of day, but I was so lonely for company, I let them in. FML

how bout reading the WHOLE thing and understanding that after Jesus came to earth the Hebrew scriptures and it's laws were replaced by a set of rules in the greek scriptures that DONT involve the irrational behavior you mention.

ultimate cynic....WE DONT BELIEVE IN HELL. get it straight. you say take it from your side too-not just complain about intolerance. okay, I have. I used to be on the "other side of the door" for 7 years witnesses came and I felt annoyed by them. but I listened to what they had to say, and I've benefitted ever since.

omg all these witnesses :D its so tough being a witness these days ppl like sugar baby jus are so mean we are not a CULT do c us doing strange things no we jus try and live by a moral code based on the bible which we read .... sorry if the dude tht knoked on ur door tried to save ur life u guys dont oppose trick or treaters and tey ask for candy wat do we ask for five minutes tops ...

my life does not need to be saved, know why? because I have my family, my boyfriend, my friends, my dogs, and a job, a home of my own at age 19, well from age 16. I'm a very happy person. I have my own beliefes! and I don't push them on ANYONE. because that is not right, Canada is a free country so you are allowed to voise your opinion. and I can deal with saying the lords prayer because I do think there is a god. not the one from this book. because the whole big bang theory yes it's science but think about it. why is tere even a earth. there has to be a much higher power out there. but I don't live my life by book! that's not right. you only get one life.. so why not expirience EVERYTHING you possibly can... i've been through alot.. and you knwo what I did go to Sunday school as a little girl and i got kicked out for asking a simple question. but I have my beliefes y'all have yours. no one will EVER see eye to eye. so why sit on a website and waste your energy freaking out on people.

I asked where the other people came from. it said god created one person in his vision or something and I asked because it said he went somewhere and there was people and I didn't get the answer till I asked the priest at the church I went to when I was like 7. so now I know. an I get it. but I don't agree with living my life by the bible. cool if it makes you happy. i would be misserable.

I do not understand why Jehovah's Witnesses take so much baggage. If you think people are perfect and that the world today is wonderful then so be it. These people knocking at your door aren't intending to bother you, they honestly believe, that their religion is the one and only, and that they're saving you by preaching. Also, a lot of you seem to assume that JWs think they're superior to other religiously centered people, and that if you don't convert, you'll be condemned, etc. JWs teach that you should love your neighbors (as in, the people you interact with daily) in the way of being honest, and respectful. If you weren't so judgmental of these people you'd learn that they're actually very nice.
