My doctor always told us to eat a teaspoon or a packet of sugar. More often than not, it cured or hiccups.
My science teacher taught me a trick to cure hiccups that's very effective. Just plug your nose and drink as much water as you can. I use it whenever I have the hiccups and it works every time.
She should have plugged her ears and sang a note.
Dear god, upside down.....??? Just eat a spoon of peanut butter, does the trick just fine and saves you all that clean up.
The spoonful of sugar works for me...and also a something hot (soup or tea) works as well...
what works for me everytime is take ten swollows of water in a row without stopping.
My mom always said you had to scare someone to cure their hiccups.. So when I got the hiccups as a kid she would hide and jump out and scare me. Not sure if it worked, but I think I did pee my pants once from it.
Yeah but did the hiccups stop?
