Today, the power went out at school. If it's out for more than twenty minutes, standard procedure is to let us go home. They came back on almost nineteen minutes later. FML

Today, the power went out at school. As a senior, I don't show up until third period. When I got there, I signed in as usual. The office secretary waited until I signed in to tell me that if I hadn't, I wouldn't have to attend classes that day. Now I have to sit in class doing nothing. FML

Today, there was a power outage at my apartment. I ended up deciding that the power wasn't going to come on any time soon, and that I should go to a hotel for the night. Just after I unpacked at the hotel, my neighbor called to say the power had come back. FML

We got to leave early lots of times when I was in high school. We actually looked forward to getting bomb threats (all pranks). When they'd evacuate the school, we'd leave.

That's kinda like a couple teachers I had that said if they were ever 30 minutes late we didnt have to stay in class and would show up about 25 minutes late regularly.
