Today, three of my dipshit coworkers kept whining all day about Zayn Malik leaving One Direction, how devastating it is, and what it means for their future. As a pacifist, I've never had to struggle so hard to not beat the piss out of people and hurl their broken remains out a window. FML

It's scary that there are workforce-aged people thinking like your coworkers 0.o

One Direction=Wrong Direction We all feel your pain

Lighten up, some people just invest a lot of time and emotion in bands, and when the bands change, which is inevitable, it's the end of the world. It can be annoying, but in this day and age it is something we will all have to learn to ignore. And it's definitely not limited to female teenage One Direction fans. Have you ever seen metalhead drama? They can act strikingly similar to high school girls, only with 100 pounds of beef each stuffed into their clothing and also more beards.

im sorry but i am with op on this one! yes i understand that there are a lot of people out there who love one direction but to get all emotional over something as stupid as a band member leaving is a bit far fetched! no doubt he will be back soon anyways! i love top gear, but you dont see me sat here crying like my whole world has ended just because jeremy clarkson has been sacked, get a grip!!!

THANK YOU!!!!!! My friend Shelby literally cried because of this. I don't see what the big deal is.

Since you're such a pretentious snob, you do know The Beatles were initially a boy band. Same as n*sync, backstreet boys, one direction. And heaven forbid people like different music

People who enjoy One Direction aren't annoying. People who literally obsess over them, act as if one of the members has died just because he left the group, and threaten to cut themselves if he doesn't come back, are annoying.

While One Direction are not my cup of tea, I can understand how some people would be upset over this. I've been upset, but not obsessively, over bands breaking up or band members leaving or getting replaced. But, in your defense, OP, I can also sympathize with you for having to listen to it at work. It's annoying enough to deal with your coworkers on a daily basis anyway, and then to have to deal with the whining and fangirling b.s. all day long...I'd probably stab myself multiple times.

You are honestly an amazing human being
