Just because you're single and broke now doesn't mean you always will be. Chances are, a lot of his money he inherited from his mommy or daddy, or was helped by his mommy and daddy in getting a good position in a company that's afraid to fire him due to his parents' influence. Still, FYL.

Things aren't always as they appear. A seemingly happy marriage and riches could really be an unhappy, cold marriage and debt behind closed doors. Don't compare your life to theirs when you don't know the whole picture.

If he went to his high school reunion, then he obviously put it in the past and moved on, if he was still pouting about it, then I doubt he would've gone to it. The bully clearly hasn't grown up himself if he felt the need to still find a reason to make fun of the OP.
