Today, we told my fiancé's parents that I'm pregnant. His mom's response? "I'm going to throw up. You can't raise a child." We are both 28, self-sufficient and everyone else is thrilled. FML

Today, my girlfriend and I agreed to tell her parents that she's pregnant. When they started freaking out, instead of dealing with the situation maturely, she went into straight-up denial and said, "It's okay, I'm not the mom." FML

Today, after a necessary medical procedure that rendered my birth control ineffective, I found out I’m pregnant. I was already planning to break up with my manchild boyfriend, and when I told him this, his first response was, “What will my parents think?” Parents with whom he still lives at age 30. FML

If she thinks you have no business having a child, then she has no business being a grandmother, so she's brought it upon herself to never see her grandchild. Simple as that. I'll bet you anything she'll be the most excited one at the baby's first birthday.

We are definitely capable of raising a child. We are stable and we have wanted kids for a long time. Not sure what her problem is but she told us that she doesn't want us in her life because we wont be strict enough with the child. Good riddance! See you never. My kid deserves better!

my husbands mother hated me also at first then I gave birth to her beautiful grandson now she went quit calling me asking when I'm coming back over with him bit in the beginning she told me to my face I wasn't the one for her son... with time ppl change... congratulations on it pregnancy don't let the in-laws ruin this beautiful time for u!!
