Leave him, don't come back
It's time to move on without him, I'm sorry it had to come to this. :(
This is a huge fear I've had about working with/having/babysitting kids. They're smart and know how to manipulate adults using the old "bad touch" remarks. I had a cousin who when she was a teenager used to call social services on my aunt whenever she was punished for something.
That's actually not okay at all. He sounds like a brat.
Just my opinion but my parents used to smack me whenever i pulled some shit and i turned out pretty okay
I'd carry your sons birth certificate around and be able to show it to anyone who he cries wolf to. Your kid needs to get punished in some way...you can't just let stuff like this fly. No offense, but they pull shit like this, it's more often than not permissive parenting that lets it happen.
Great idea -but how does OP prove the kid is actually who she says it is? Kids don't come with ID cards.
ohhhh man i remember my lil brother pulled almost the same stunt at books a million over a damn thomas the train set.. we were leaving and my mom picks him up like a sack of potatos and thats when he starts yelling SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME! and grabbing on to the doorway. i dont remember if anybody did call the cops but MAN he got left with my grandma ever since
Actions like this need to be nipped in the bud ASAP, OP. If not, the wrong person will hear, call CPS, and they could take him away. Sure, it's an extreme, but I know it's one of every good parent's nightmares. My 4 year old nephew started saying "My daddy hurts me." whenever he gets mad at his Mom or Step Dad. His biological father was never really in the picture, so Step Dad is the closest thing to a father figure he has ever had. Anyway, the hurting in question? Discipline for acting out of line. They are not abused children at all. He just needs to be called out on his BS and when he realizes he isn't going to get sympathy, he stops. They are afraid if the wrong person hears him, that CPS will end up taking him and his little sister away. So if your kid gets bratty like that, for whatever reason, fix the problem. Fast. It could save your family.
My daughter used to do this. By daughter I mean a random little girl in a store

Geez, that's clever but please make sure you explain the dangers of doing that to your son
Maybe if he doesn't listen when you explain why that is bad, perhaps ask a local law enforcement officer to talk to your kid. False reports are a serious thing.
