I have long been of the opinion that there are some people who just hit the 'you deserved it' button at every single FML they read. Anyway, that must have been very sad for you.

How does op deserve this? I'm sorry for your loss. I can't begin to imagine having to do that. I couldn't break someone's heart once much less a second time
In some ways her memory loss could be a blessing in disguise. No parent should have to bury their child and the fact that she can't remember that her daughter has died might make it easier on her. I love my daughter more than anything and that's something I'd be glad not to have the memory of.
