I'm so sorry for your loss and that your girlfriend told you that. I usually don't condone not coming clean about cheating but this would have been a scenario where it was best left unsaid.

This is just unbelievably screwed up. How can one rationalize telling someone something so awful at a funeral and believe that it is rational? As the saying goes there is no such thing as perfect timing, however there is such a thing as bad timing evidently. This being a prime example of bad timing. I'm sorry OP, for your loss and well everything. Things will pick up in the future.

I'm sorry for your loss. That is such a horrible way to remember your brother. It's never a good time to hear that kind of news, but she could have at least let you say goodbye.
