Today, I went on a fabulous date with a really cute, smart, funny guy. He only mentioned his dad, so when I asked about his mom, I asked if they were divorced. She'd died of breast cancer so I felt awful. Then I asked if his dad had ever remarried. His stepmom had died of cancer too. FML

hey guys thanks for the comments I definetly learned from this yeah I really should think before speaking and well me and my ex are good friends and well I did sit down and talk to him to appologize so everything is slowly better now, but yeah thanks :) you guys all gave the best advice to give : think before I talk. never realized I seem to say things that come out wrong :P I'm sorry, bye :) !

why would you even joke about someones mom dying? losing someone you care about is a horrible thing to experience and that pain could only be worse when that person is a parent.
