Today, while on the bus, I began to fall asleep. Suddenly, a man next to me started laughing very loudly, scaring me and jolting me out from my nap. I was so scared, I reflexively punched the girl in front of me in the face. I was pinned down by three other men while the cops were called. FML

FYL OP, sorry but I have to ask( I know this sounded racist). Do you happen to be African American? It would explain to me why your reflex to be punching the first person you see, why there was 3 man to pin you down and the necessary of the police to be called.

I totally agree that not all girls are helpless, and can defend themselves quite well. But I'm guessing if another man felt the need to intervene, it was because she was clearly in the need of assistance.

Not your fault man, I have the same kind of reflex but so far this did not happen (mostly because i'm too paranoid to fall asleep on the bus). To those of you saying YDI for punching a girl, it was a reflex and quite honestly when it's self-defense I really don't care what gender, age, etc you are. I have a "its me or them" attitude.
