Today, I found out why my fiancé waited for me to meet his family. We had dinner at their place, the women were not permitted to talk while the men were in the room, also no eye contact with the men, and we had to eat separately. Today, my fiancé yelled at me after I got off the phone with my friends, because I said I hadn't felt this happy and hadn't laughed this much in a long time. He was also mad that I didn't cook him dinner. He didn't ask me to cook dinner for him. He then told me to go somewhere else if I'm not happy with him. FML

If you're "all for equality" you are a feminist too. Being a feminist does not mean you think women should rule the world and all sorts of ridiculous crap people think it is. Being a feminist simply means that you think women are and should be treated as equals. Also if you're a male (which I assume you are) it's very difficult for males to understand what sexism is. And that's a subject that is too complicated for a lot of FML users to comprehend, so that's all I'm going to say. I will say it's NOT "you have to be more sensitive to me", there is so much more. I'm not going to call you an idiot, I think perhaps you are just very ignorant.
