I know I've ignored my parents, perhaps not in such a childish way, but regardless of what she was doing there is no reason for parents to say that in front their little girl. in b4 "not so little HAR HAR HAR lose some weight fatass" **** you guys, seriously. Sure, some people blame it on their metabolism or a health problem or something but they still know they're fat. Really. You don't need to tell them. It is not going to make them work harder to lose weight, it's just going to make them feel even worse and less motivated and make you look like an asshole with no possible redeeming qualities. There's no story about why she is or isn't a whale, so it's obviously not the main problem. Not getting a man really might be her fault. I know a whole bunch of skinny, interesting people who have relationship issues because they're self righteous ***** or something, and plenty of fat and rather boring folk who've maintained their sad relationship for years. If you feel the need to ignore them and if they say shitty stuff about you in front of you, whether you were listening or not, it is their fault.
