Today, while trying to give an immunization to a "special" 13-year-old, I got spit on, kicked, almost bitten, and had a chair thrown at me. When it was all over, I flinched when the patient tried to hug me. Her mom called me a "b*tch" and I later found out she wasn't a "special" child. FML

"HER mom called me a bi*ch, and later I found out HE wasn't a special child." So, is it a he or a she?

It's perfectly logical to flinch in fear when you've been attacked. I don't give a rats ass about how old or young the attacker is.

Honestly, like #100, I freak out like that if I have to get anything stuck into me. (Except I'm actually screaming, so a bystander can totally tell I hate it. Also, 100 is wrong that the OP deserves it - people make assumptions so easily, so give OP a break.) TL;DR Maybe the girl was afraid and not just the OP?
