Today, while waiting in line at a store, a toddler behind me was throwing a major meltdown while his father yelled at him, giving me a migraine. I turned to the woman behind me and said, "Can you believe this kid? I feel sorry for his mother." Turns out the woman was his mother. FML

the mother was probably embarrassed and distressed. hopefully it's not a daily occurrence.

YDI all the way. The kid's parents were probably just as annoyed as you were. No one likes listening to tantrums but you didn't have to say anything. You can't always get a kid to calm down. I do say one parent should have taken the child outside though since they were both there.

Think before you speak. It helps.

You deserved that one!! You have no idea why the kid was having a meltdown. When my son was little he would have meltdowns everywhere cause he has autism and most things he just couldn't handle.

Shocking - a child acting like a child.

the funny thing about this is that if that was my child and you would have said that to ME, I would have told you too goto hell and made a comment about your oversized head.

That's just pathetic behavior in general, but to act like that in front of your child? Let's hope you don't reproduce.

Either way it was a misunderstanding lol

Kids have their moments. I say you deserved it. This is a prime example of something's being better left unsaid

Just stay quiet...you'll be to your silent place soon....

YDI. Nobody asked you to make nasty comments about someone else's child.
