Today, while working at McDonald's, a woman returned to the drive thru because her fries weren't hot enough. She was so angry about coming back that she threw her cold fries at me through the window and told me to "choke on them." FML

Today, a guy asked for hot fries at the drive thru. After receiving the fries, he threw them at the drive thru window, complained that they were too hot, and asked for the manager for burning his mouth. I am the manager. FML

Today, my mom was "that" customer at the local drive-thru. She slipped into attention whore mode and bitched the guy out for not giving us extra fries. He said she didn't ask for any, which was true. Instead of apologizing, she swore at him and floored the gas, sending our drinks spilling all over me. FML

Today, at Burger King, I was coming back from break. A customer screamed at me because she ordered a double cheeseburger without pickles, and they were put on anyway. She threw it in my face. I've seen a few comments on here like OP should've known that the fries were cold, OP should've checked and things like that, as a drive thru cashier I do not bag the food, and am not allowed to touch the food bc I've been handling money, so should they have stuck their hand in the bag to check? Why are people blaming the OP? Drive thru workers do not handle the food, so they have no idea if the fries are hot or cold. Blame the moron who bagged it before handing it to the OP.
