Today, I have been left home alone, the electricity has cut out, and I am petrified of the dark. I am stuck downstairs making karate noises every few minutes to scare off creepers. FML

Not everyone has candles or flashlights. I know there's light outside but even then it's not bright enough a lot of the time.

No, OP would be blown to pieces and then the remaining creepers would laugh after OP is dead. If they laugh before OP dies, their cover might be blown.

Haven't you ever seen home alone? Set up traps by all entrances and sit with a sling shot and wait. You'll be just fine. The sun will come up tomorrow.
