Today, I found out that my overprotective brother is going to move in with me when he gets out of jail. My chances of ever being in a relationship are now next to zero. FML

Since when does your brother decide that your house is available for him? Isn't it the owner of the house who decides who moves in, hmm? Just say no.

You "found out"? Have you no say in who moves in with you?

OP: Let me introduce you to a word: "No". As in "No, you can't move in with me"

even though he's her brother, he just got out of jail. if it were me, I wouldn't mess...

What do you mean you "found out"? Do you just allow random people to move into your home at any given time without discussing it? If you don't want him living with you, tell him he can't move in. Problem solved. If you're still living at home and therefore can't make that decision, it's time to start looking for your own place or to accept that the needs of others are more important than your own desires.

Tell him that if he's going to live with you, it's fine as long as he doesn't be so overprotective.

Perhaps it's a minor making this fml? In which case he or she lives with their mom or dad so they have no say. Regardless, you need to lay it on your brother that you canbtake care of yourself and don't need his help.

I just hope your brother isn't in jail because he killed his previous roomie (:

YDI tell him no nd tu **** himself sideways

Because that's a smart thing to say to a criminal.

yah kno he can kiss ass if he harms his damn sister
