Today, my girlfriend got into my Facebook account and changed our relationship status to single, just to see which of my friends would "like" it. After revealing to me what she did, she now says I can no longer be friends with anyone who liked it. FML

Dump her! If she thinks she can tell you who you can be friends with, she should have another thing coming. One of my ex's said 'its over, wanna go out with me?' and I responded saying no. If they're stupid enough to joke about it what are they going to do when you're not there?

I'm not a shy person so a few of my partners friends aren't my biggest fans, not only have I never felt the need to go to those lengths but I would never tell him to stop hanging out with them...... Maybe get a new girl?

Maybe they liked it out of sympathy? Maybe they felt bad, so they thought, "You know what? I'm gonna like [OP]'s post so that he knows that being single is okay." Or, maybe they just absentmindedly liked it. Who knows
