What's on your mind?

Today, at my mother's open-casket funeral, my sister-in-law went to pay her respects. As she stood in front of the body, she coughed, muttering "Bitch" in the process. Either nobody else noticed or nobody cared, and she went on her way, noticeably not choked up at all. FML

Your sister-in-law is a bitch. Even if she and your mother had their differences she had no right to be so disrespectful.

We've got bitches calling bitches... bitches. Bitchception. Bam.

Not justifying the disrespect in any way, just pointing out that it's only natural for a mother in law and the woman who "stole" her son to not get along. Stating her opinion of her so obviously was terrible, she could have at least found a more sly way to express her feelings, perhaps a way in which no one could hear her, like keeping negative thoughts in her head? Something about "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" should have come into play. Maybe you should teach her that one, she obviously needs to learn it. Now she is the bitch. She did it to herself, she only has herself to blame.

Just remember that she has plenty of funerals to attend, people quite close to her heart, and that Karma is a bitch too. Vendetta, says Karma

I don't get along with my mother in law, at all, but pulling that crap at a funeral is disrespectful and hurtful to everyone there grieving. Absolutely inexcusable no matter how much you hate the person.

Well you know what to do at her funeral

You care, you should have said something to her after the funeral, or at least to your bro
