Today, my boyfriend said he felt like eating icing. So I baked him cupcakes, put icing on them and decorated them. When I handed them to him, he picked off the decoration, licked the icing and handed the cupcake back to me, saying, "I told you that's all I wanted." FML

Well he did tell you that's what he wanted...

Wow. Your boyfriend is a bit ungrateful, huh. He could've at least said thank you for making them, even if he didn't want them.

What a jerk. I would have handed him the can of frosting and left. Taking the cupcakes with me to give to someone.

That was nice of you but, I've figured out the simpler solution. Tub of icing, spoon and, done. No baking required!

If you need someone to wait on, find some hungry, homeless mentally ill people at a shelter. You are his GF, not his parent.

He DID say icing NOT cupcakes. You can't get hurt or mad at the fact he didn't get eat the cupcake. Yes it was a thoughtful gesture but next time hunny just give the icing and don't over think or read too far into it.

Why do women always have to complicate what is being said. He wanted icing so give him icing. Not a full out cupcake. If he wanted a cupcake he'd have say "I want cupcakes with icing." I say this, as a women.

So why not just just mix him some icing in a bowl and give it to him with a spoon? You totally deserved this one OP.

The man clearly said icing. We only speak in code when playing BO2.

You should start listening more carefully.
