He was being facetious and pointing it out by saying that in first grade, when he supposedly learned that an is only used for vowels (and exceptions, actually) that they never taught him that c was a vowel. And he already got ripped for his comment. So no, he was looking for vowel. C being a consonant is correct, but entirely wrong for his joke. Too bad. As for the dog food mouth watering: Oops? I mean... you'd think it would look a lot more like dog food anyway, but if it truly looked yummy, who cares if your mouth was excited? Take two acenometaphin and call back in the morning if you're not feeling better.

Obviously it's not the dogs that buy the food, it's the person. It's SUPPOSED to make you think it looks tasty so you want to buy it. Duh.

Seriously? They're not advertising to dogs, the food is supposed to look tasty to people. If they made it look like something a dog would want, like a fresh carcass, no one would buy it.

Okay don't feel bad, I've done the same kind of thing. One time that stands out in my mind is when my dad was heating up some food in a pan on the stove. I walked in saying, "What are you cooking? God that smells good. You're making me hungry." Yeah he was heating up wet dog food for our Chow. Gross

I did the same thing and ended up buying the dog food and eating it. it's really not that bad. a little crunchy though.. also, it's "A commercial" not "an commercial."

I do that too, they make it look better and higher-quality than the human stuff these days. Which it probably is.....
