Carpal Tunnel is basically an overuse injury in the wrists and forearms from a repeated hand, arm, or finger motion. It sucks a lot, because it never really goes away. I'm a music major with piano as my primary instrument and have carpal tunnel and tendonitis in both arms. It gets in the way of not only my music making but lots of other hand based activities, as well. Not fun. >

it never goes away but i know a few people who have had an op to correct it, although its a simple op I don't know if it weakens your hand after. I imagine it would do since some nerve damage can be caused during carpol tunnel
