Baby love

By bushy brows - 04/01/2016 23:13 - United States - Prior Lake

Today, I recently gave birth to my daughter, and my husband and I both have dark hair and bushy eyebrows. We never thought it was a problem until our daughter was born with a dark, bushy unibrow. Now I'm too nervous to take pictures of her 'cause our family and friends laugh every time they see her. FML

I really want to say FYL but if you already can't accept your daughter for who she is then FHL & YDI. Friends and family who laugh at a baby for something she can't help are asshats.

People opinions are the least thing you should care about. Congrats on your beautiful daughter.

You and your "friends" need to experience actual problems. If it's a problem, get it waxed. Everyone would feel better.

Don't worry! Some of it will fall out. My oldest was born with a unibrow, LONG hair on the top of her ears, and hair all down her back and above her bottom. It was all gone after a few months :-).

Some cultures shave all the 'birth hair' from an infant days after birth. Usually the babies shed. But if you want to, you could save the middle bit of her brows. It won't make you bad parents, OP. Congratulations on the birth of your healthy happy baby girl.

By shaving hair, it just causes the hair to grow back thicker. Their baby is fine the way she is with a unibrow or not. They just need to accept her, nobody is perfect at the end of the day.

**** you for being humiliated by your child. Grow up and be proud.

Well in 18 years when she is grown and graduated and beautiful, ready to move out, you're going to wish you had the photos or her at her youngest age. Or you could try to shave them. A lot of guys just bull a razor between their brows. Maybe try that?

Really... When she's older and asks why there are no baby pics, you're going to say "I eliminated your infancy because you had a unified eyebrow." People have kids with severe, life threatening deformities and treasure their pictures. I'm not going to select YDI because you don't deserve your daughter at all.

So shave a space in the middle and everyone is happy, it's what she will do anyway once old enough....

Wax it? I'm sure it will be a short term thing :)

Hope you named her Kate. You know, short for Katepillar.

Why don't u just shave the middle part??? That's what I do
