Depending on the laws of your State you may not be able to sue. I live in an at will State. That means I have a job only at the will of my employer, they can fire me at any time, for any reason, or for no reason at all. I'd consult a Labor Law atty if I were you.
If they have been medically diagnosed, then it supercedes the states laws and goes right up to federal law. And they are protected by federal law.
They can't fire you for ANY reason in a right to work state. Federal anti-discrimination laws still apply. As long as they don't STATE a reason, their asses are covered. However, if they tell you why you are fired and the reason they state falls under federal protection, the employer is guilty of wrongful termination. You cannot legally be fired anywhere in the United States because of race, gender, blah blah blah all the usual protected classes, which include medical conditions. The only exception is if your condition makes you unable to perform the required tasks of the job. My father was permanently laid off from his job as a forklift driver because he developed a seizure disorder and posed a danger to himself and others, and there was no other job in the company for which he was qualified and which he could safely perform (it was at an ammunition plant).
Correct Federalism FTW
Get a lawsuit and get your bosses job or enough money to be set for life :)

stan sitwell and charlie villanueva have been successes even with alopecia, you need to follow in their footsteps and work hard, you can do it
Sue!
There are different forms of alopecia. Some are lifelong, and others can go away. My mom had it, and hers also went away after about a year. Her's was due to so much stress that it basically screwed over every part of her body. It's not something that goes away like a cold, but it can go away if you have certain types. It can also start suddenly and progress quickly.
what's alopecia?

Alopecia is the universe's way of telling you that you should be bald. Shave your head and hope that you don't have a raisin scalp.
