Today, I finally got the courage to ask out the guy I've liked for a long time. He's a cashier at a grocery store. It was about 1am and I was his last customer, everything seemed just right. Just when I was about to ask him to the movies, a drunk girl stumbles in and asks him out. He said yes. FML

that sucks. don't worry about it too much though. work relationships never last long anyways. and when it doesn't you can be the friend he needs and then who knows.. maybe he'll see you in another light?

On the one hand that does blow. On the other ... well, you do important stuff like that in person. Sharing strong personal emotions like that over text is just impersonal and weak in its effect. I know it hurts, though, and I feel for you. =/
