Clever girl

Today, I was in a public restroom when my almost-two-year-old figured out how to open the door and run out. Half-a-dozen strangers watched me scramble to pull up my pants and moon everyone before running after her. FML

I think in this case people will understand. I was leashed as a child to prevent my running off.

My only question is full moon or half moon? That's an awesome almost two year old!

Some places do have seats to strap little kids in... Next time maybe bring something with you to entertain your child that might help...

When I was 1-2 I ran around the nieghborhood naked.... Did I really just say that..?

I don't think there would be to many complaints if you did that now

I'm a twin. So when we were two we somehow locked my mother out of our two story house, climbed into the cupboards and ate all the Nutella. She had to climb a ladder to the window to get inside, only to find two kids covered in chocolate sitting in the cupboard. She wasn't happy, but it was totally worth it.

When I visit Seattle, I see little kids with adorable little leashes/backpacks shaped like dogs, monkeys, turtles, etc. In areas where there are lots of people and interesting things to look at like lights or boats or whatever, sometimes little kids can't control themselves. A mall or store can fit into those characteristics. Or, depending on the child, a public bathroom can.

It is okay, everyone understands how stressful kids can be

My daughter did that at a shopping centre once around the same age and proudly announced mummy has a ****** like me while everyone stared, couldn't shut the door quick enough!

Most people will understand, and you will probably never see those people again :)
