Today, while crying at my grandma's funeral, I was told to "man up". FML

Sorry for your loss. No matter how much of a man you are, crying at a funeral does not mean you're weak. Especially if it's someone close like a grandmother.

It's okay to cry, especially under these circumstances. Whoever tells you otherwise can go to hell. I'm sorry for your loss OP

I hate the stigma that men aren't allowed to cry for some reason. I love when a man shows his emotions - there's nothing wrong with it. You're human. Sorry for your loss.

Whoever said that needs to learn that men can cry too

ignore that bastard. if your loved one has passed and crying helps you with the grief, cry the shit out of yourself. you do what makes you feel better, OP.

If you don't cry when your family members die, you may have no soul.

This is when you smack a bitch. I wonder if that would be "man" enough for them. My condolences.

Whoever said that does not know of the two acceptable times to cry (according to Ron Swanson), which is at a funeral and the Grand Canyon

Shoot the guy who told you that. Then, stab him where you shot him. Tell the buffoon to man up.

2 weeks ago I found out my grandfather passed away while I was at work. my fiancé was supposed to go out that night with his friends but when I called him crying at work he stayed home to be with me. his friend and his acquaintance decides to show up. his acquaintance told me to mourn in the back of they're car. my fiancé and I told him to go **** off. so sorry for someone to tell you that and I'm so sorry for your loss

They can shut up. So sorry for your loss.

Man u- yeah, can't do it here. Sorry mate. :/ RIP
