Creeper

Today, my girlfriend from high school contacted me, telling me we should hang out some time; I casually agreed. Two hours later she's on my doorstep in tears, wanting me to take her back. She's married with kids. I live four states away and haven't a clue how she found out where I live. FML

OP obviously you deserve it for being the best boyfriend in the world. I mean why else would she be at your door? Not like she got married to some abusive asshole and she needs a way out....

And good sir, how do you intend to verify such statements? :)

Im a girl, actually xD and if you read the FML it clearly says shes married with kids, and she was crying at his doorstep. its the most logical explanation :> also, my first post was sarcastic. There should be some sarcasm font available online..

So she goes to him, who already has a life of his own so she can "find a way out"? People shouldn't suck other people into their problems because of the choices they made.

They shouldn't. Doesn't mean they don't. It happens.

The comment was obviously sarcastic. It's sad when you have to indicate the use of sarcasm. If someone doesn't get it the FML comments is probably not the place for them.

Unless she turned up with the kids I think it's fair to say its her problems

Her mental state must have been way out of place.

She gave you up before she doesn't deserve to have you back in her life Op. Not to mention that she's evil for thinking about cheating on her husband and ruining her children's bind with their parents... EVIL.

Bond* sorry people, was fuming there, its not fair when people do this.

He may have broken up with her? But agree with everything else you said.

I absolutely agree a cheating spouse or parent destroys family's and children's bonds with thier parents.

You can't assume that... Maybe the reason she was at his door crying was because her husband cheated on HER. Or asked for a divorce, or as someone else said, was abusing her. In which case she's not evil, just sad.

Please don't tell me you took her in!?

And risk being a complete douche? hey I feel bad for OP for being put into a situation like this, but the women just went through 4 states within 2 hours. sure she was not very responsible nor respectable to OP, but the LEAST he can is actually let the woman in for a talk.

The least OP can do is nothing. That's exactly what he should do here - nothing.

I think it goes without saying that that's really creepy! Be careful, dah'ling, and watch your back!

Sounds like she's regretting some life choices or reality and responsibility is weighing too heavily on her. Either way I think some professional help would be advisable :/
