I fainted in the hospital hallway just from looking at stitches! Your not alone!
I feel bad for you, it's mean that you're being mocked. The surgeon also didn't help by increasing your nerves. But I can't relate at all. I've had at least 5 major surgeries and I've never been nervous for any of them.

It's a serious thing no matter what. No one should mock or joke about some one having anesthesia or surgery . You wait until they are sedated to mock them and joke around .
She wouldn't be making fun of you if she was the one having surgery.
