Dick

By missPiggy - This FML is from back in 2015 but it's good stuff - Norway

Today, a colleague found out that I struggled with anorexia when young. After ranting about how it's a silly 'Women's disease', he renamed me 'Miss Piggy' and made oinking noises every time I ate something. FML

Why don't you contact HR so they can explain to him what he is doing is wrong.

How rude, some people don't seem to understand that Anorexia is a serious disease. Don't listen to him, he's a jackass obviously.

I am so so so sorry!!! That person is a dick who is so bored with their own life they decided to mess with yours. Please don't listen to them, an just know you are better than them!

And you haven't punched him in the face why?

...why aren't you kicking his ass?

Because a lot of people who suffer from anorexia are doing so by trying to avoid being/getting fat? Duh? Also, it's ****** up to use "retarded" as a derogatory term.

Most companies go through sensitivity training to avoid these sorts of issues. This one is just common sense. No need for warnings. No need for training. That is just straight up harassment that should qualify for immediate termination.

Sounds like someone needs sensitivity training. Report him!

I've had a gf struggling with this.. I'll never get a gf again with that.. too much stress but I still want to punch anyone in the face who picks on that.

My boyfriend helped me past my body issues to a play where I'm now healthy and happy with myself. He is now my fiancé. If you don't want to work through real issues, you aren't going to have a real relationship.

But not everyone gets to the point where they're happy and healthy, and not everyone is equipped to deal graciously with other people's severe health issues. I'm glad things worked out well for you though.

I'm glad someone took the time to give me a chance.

@118 It's not fair to say that #77 isn't willing to work through big problems just because he couldn't go through that again. I don't think you realize how draining it is for the person giving full time support to those with mental disorders, and it's not wrong of him to avoid that kind of stress.
