Don't take this the wrong way but that was really funny lol. Some people are very stupid tho
Long live the USA
Well...did you try an injection of planarian stem cells?
While I agree it is unfair that the police were called, sometimes people are bound by the policies and restrictions placed on their job. Despite it being obvious to the clerk they likely need something on file in case there was ever a problem. I think the way you feel is justified but I also think that the clerk wasn't completely wrong in what they did. If they have rules to follow they have to follow them even if it means disappointing a customer, when it comes down to it, it's their job on the line, and if they want to do it by the book then they have every right to do so.
Hope you weren't arrested and "the weapon" wasn't confiscated as evidence Because then you wouldn't have a leg to stand on in court or prior to your trial for that matter
That is ridiculous. I get why they need the paperwork, but it is still stupid.
Well I guess you should've put your foot down...
At least you tried. I am an amputee and have heard this line too many times. ?
I would've just laughed and made them look so dumb to the cops. so stupid
What a dick! I'd do the same thing you did, honestly. Haha. Hopefully everything got sorted out!

Take your leg and beat them with it.
Even if there's a policy, an employee should be given the authority to accept such cases without abiding by the policy.
