Leave her, there are plenty of girls who would appreciate your kind gestures much more. Do you want to spend your entire life being criticized by this woman?
umm for all the people like "omg that's so embarrassing!!!" if you love the person you should be excited that they asked you and not give a crap. I mean come on, its only embarrassing if you wanted to say no, in which case it doesn't matter how it happens its still gonna be awkward. and to #42, i think realizing the love of your life is a psycho can make you fall out of love pretty quick, but that's just me
run. If you're the type of guy who likes to do this sort of thing and she's the type of girl that doesn't appreciate it, well, this is just an example of what your entire existence in marital bliss and eternity will add up to. Be happy you're not giving her half of every penny you've broken your balls earning over the years in the process.
That girl is so ungrateful. I hope karma kicks her hard in the ass >_>
Out of curiosity, did she say yes? :P
BRIDEZILLA!! Get out while you can!!! If she's this psycho about being proposed to in a Really sweet manner then she's going to make your life hell. Dump her ass, pronto. If you're both still single in a few years look her up. She might have mellowed down and turned into a Real Person.
50-awesome Simpsons refrence
#12: You are a ******* legend. Rofl.
ohk i dun get wat is the whole ordeal about proposing in front of the family?!!? i mean maybe he is of a culture that do that! or maybe his family and her family wanted to be there! anyways, i had always wanted my bf to propose to me a certain way too. but he did it the way he tot best and the way he tot it would make me happy the most! and the fact that he tot so much about it and spent so much money and his time is what mattered the most! and how can she be so self centered?!?! i personally think that the proposal is the one thing it should be done the way the guy likes! cuz the girl gets to plan the whole wedding and everything... god she is a BITCH! and to cry for 4 HOURS?!?! geez she definately needs to see a psychiatrist! i think there is a part of her brain that is missing!!!! and i agree with #14!!! WAS in love! good on u!

she should have been thankful, because that's incredibly sweet. i don't understand the obsession with proposals as long as you're genuinely in love and propose in a way that shows you care.
I've only known one other person who had a fiance who bitched about the WAY her boyfriend proposed. She turned out to be insane, and they ended up splitting up. If she's seriously going to cry because you didn't propose how she wanted you to, it's time to break up.
