You have expectations he is not willing to live up to. Now you know. Here's the deal. This is not about who he screwed. It is not about the importance of love vs. sex. I don't see the problem, as long as he isn't in love with anybody else but you. To most guys, sex is just a physical thing, like pooping or eating. You're okay if he poops in someone else's garden, right?
