Fake news

Today, I went to a coffee shop to meet an online date. I couldn't spot him, so he eventually came up and introduced himself. It seems his on-line picture must have been taken before I was born. I spluttered "This isn't going to work," and promptly scuttled out. FML

You could have least gotten an actual free coffee out of him, instead of stealing your coworker's.

When you say "scuttled out" I imagined a crab scuttling that sideways gait.

Oy. Tough luck, OP! :( Online dating doesn't always turn out that way, trust me!

I'm talking about online daters most have trouble in person so there are like desprate and will lie about there age and appearance I'm not talking bout general comp use iv fallen for some guys I met playing games

And you were completely honest in your online profile? I don't see how this is an FYL. You weren't the one walked out on.

Did he look a little too much like your father?

and this is why we never meet people from the net..:/

#127 But not all online dating experiences turn out this way. I met my boyfriend on an online dating site and neither of us exaggerated or lied about anything. Having one bad experience doesn't mean that you can necessarily chalk it up to "OMG, online dating is dangerous and doesn't work because everyone lies about their appearance/age/etc.!" That's simply not logical.

Show me someone that says they are Completely honest on the Internet & I'll show you a Liar!!

FUCKEN AWESOME!!! Way to Enforce The Lemon Law!!! The Lemon Law : Dictates that within 5 minutes of meeting your date, you decide whether or not it will work and get to bail out. True Story.
