ame, your comments never fail to brighten my day a bit. :]
i saw these and felt left out to comment.
What kind of college would have a visitor curfew?
Most colleges have an opposite sex curfew. It really exists to put parents at ease, and are usually unenforced.
I doubt "most" schools have them. I've never heard of any school that wasn't 1. religious or 2. single sex (or both) having any such thing, unless we're talking about the 60s. The rule here is overnight guests can't stay for more than 3 consecutive days. It's a coed dorm, so they couldn't do anything about that anyway. The school I transferred from was pretty much "if your roommate doesn't object, whatever." I think there was an official limit (which might also have been 3 days, I'm not sure), but it was never enforced at all. (They also were incredibly lenient about drinking...the policy was "don't throw up in the hall, be obnoxiously loud, or break anything.")
God forbid you actually contribute to society. Get over yourself.
Seriously! Suck it up & do some community service, ya crybaby!

it's college they need to stop treating you like little kids.
This fml confuses me :/ Why would a college be able to sentence you to community service?
