another reason why religions are silly. people don't seem to realize the fact that they're myths/altered rl stories made by people centuries ago, before much of the knowledge we know about our world were discovered. unfortunately, this fact only stops a minority from believing.

There's a great quote about this by George Bernard Shaw. It compares believers and skeptics to drunks and sober people. At least the believers have something to hold onto when things go wrong, just like people who drink.
