Today, I had a seizure at my boyfriend's. The second I began to seize, he cursed and picked me up, dropping me on the floor complaining, "Now I have to clean the damn couch." I had urinated because I had no control over my body. The couch is still stained. He dumped me for ruining his furniture. FML

well at least now you can find a guy who can actually HELP you when you are seizing. and now that you are not seizing and free of that jerk you get to laugh when you think of what you did to his couch =)

To all those who said YDI, in no way is that correct. It could have been her first seizure, her medication could have just not worked, it's not her fault! To the OP, if that's how he reacts, then you should be glad to be rid of that son of a bitch. Bastards like him make me sick.

the medication not working is possible. my mum has seizures every now and then and she's on anti-fit/anti-seizure meds. They probably just decrease the frequency or severity

I can't believe it... you could have DIED, and he just cared that his couch got some pee on it. oohhh, terrible, he could cover up the stain. and at least pee is sterile? hah. I don't believe this is fake at all, it is totally possible. Not all people are in control or know what they are doing when they seize. No way is this a YDI. OP- I'm so sorry, he is an idiot. You're better off without him.

This is bad why? I mean, yes, it sucks you pissed yourself on someone's couch, had a seizure in the first place, and had someone act like that towards you about it, BUT the dumping is not bad at all. Think about it: even if you never had this fateful seizure, your boyfriend was a massive dickhole, and you could have had a much worse ending with him than this. Be glad fate decided to lend a hand... however sucky it was, at least you're rid of his shit.
